A summer day to pause, feel, and come back to being.

Summer brings energy, movement, and fullness. Life expands outward.

This retreat is an invitation to gently pause in the middle of it all —
to step out of the momentum of doing and reconnect with the simplicity of being.

Together, we’ll explore what it means to shift from thinking to direct experience…
from managing life to actually living it.

Guided by Erik and Brittany, this day blends mindfulness, somatic awareness, and embodied movement to help you reconnect with your body, your breath, and the present moment.

A Living Practice

Yoga offers us a kind of live laboratory — a space to practice one of the most essential skills we can develop:

The ability to shift from thinking to being.

Through movement, breath, and awareness, we’ll work with the body as a doorway into presence.

As Brittany shares:

“We will move energy through the body to create space for new ways of experiencing yourself and your life. Through asana, breath, focused attention, and self-reflection, we practice noticing the ego’s voice and returning to what is real in the present moment.”

This integrates seamlessly with the Living AWAKE approach — learning how to stay with experience as it is, without needing to fix, avoid, or control it.

What You’ll Experience

The flow of the day is intentionally spacious, grounded, and accessible — designed to support all levels of experience.

• Guided meditation and breath practices to regulate the nervous system and deepen awareness

• Gentle yoga and mindful movement to shift from thinking into embodied presence

• Somatic practices to help you stay with sensations, emotions, and inner experience without overwhelm

• Periods of silence and reflection to support integration

• Seasonal inquiry: What helps you feel truly alive right now? What is asking for your attention?

• Shared community meal and connection

This is not about performance or getting it “right.”
It’s about learning to listen, feel, and be.

Space is limited to 20 participants to preserve the depth and quality of the experience.

"The retreat was absolutely wonderful. I was one of the ones that was at a 4.5 out of 5 (nervous system regulation) and I myself have felt totally shifted and grounded since then. Everyone around me has commented on my shift. I credit all of it to your retreat-  so thank you!"

"Thank you for the heart-expanding day and for your skilled facilitation.  You do such a lovely job of leading, of effectively sharing information and of making attendees feel at-ease.  I admire your commitment to keeping it real. Also, your instinct to observe social silence was spot-on!  It was a really powerful day.

And Lauren is a total gem, what a grounding, loving person."
