Join us for a sacred winter day of renewal and remembering.

In the stillness of winter, we gather to reconnect with what is steady, wise, and peaceful within.
Guided by Erik Vienneau and Laura Doss, this day-long retreat offers a space to rest your nervous system, quiet the mind, and rediscover the deep well of ease that has always been yours.

You’ll be gently guided through practices drawn from Living AWAKE — Erik and Laura’s three-month mindfulness and embodiment program — distilled into a nourishing single-day experience.

What You’ll Receive

  • Grounding meditation and breathwork to regulate your nervous system and settle into embodied presence.

  • Buddhist and Yogic wisdom teachings that illuminate how peace arises when we meet life just as it is.

  • Gentle, restorative yoga and movement guided by Laura to open the body and soften long-held tension.

  • Simple Ayurvedic and mindfulness tools for sustaining balance and clarity through the winter season.

  • Community connection and reflection, reminding you that you are not alone in your journey toward peace.

  • A take-home daily practice to help you stay rooted in calm, resilience, and self-understanding long after the retreat ends.

Space is limited to maintain an intimate and supportive environment.

Please Bring

  • A tasty gluten-free, dairy-free, meat-free dish to share with the group.

  • A donation of any amount to support this community offering.

  • Your presence, your voice, your whole self — all are welcome here.

“Be still and the peace that you are will meet you.”

Let your body rest.
Let your heart open.
You are already home.

Laura Doss

Laura has been a committed practitioner of Yoga for over 25 years. Classically trained in the Sivananda lineage in 2005, she has since collected thousands more hours of training and teaching experience in ashrams, studios and schools around the world. The demands of early motherhood invited her to deepen into Kundalini Yoga (the “householder’s Yoga”) and she later advanced her studies in Ayurveda to become an Ayurvedic Health Coach. Her combined experience has led her to what she currently believes is her highest service, which is to maintain a healthy dialogue and relationship with her nervous system, and guide others to the same through Yoga, pranayama, meditation, mindfulness and the wise, life-giving tools of Ayurveda.

"The retreat was absolutely wonderful. I was one of the ones that was at a 4.5 out of 5 (nervous system regulation) and I myself have felt totally shifted and grounded since then. Everyone around me has commented on my shift. I credit all of it to your retreat-  so thank you!"

"Thank you for the heart-expanding day and for your skilled facilitation.  You do such a lovely job of leading, of effectively sharing information and of making attendees feel at-ease.  I admire your commitment to keeping it real. Also, your instinct to observe social silence was spot-on!  It was a really powerful day.

And Lauren is a total gem, what a grounding, loving person."
