Welcome to the Living AWAKE Resource Page
Everything here is offered in the spirit of my book Living AWAKE, A Guide to the Path of Freedom (releasing March 26, 2026)— to support you in going deeper.
Start with the guided practices below, recorded specifically to accompany your journey through Living AWAKE. Then explore the additional resources further down the page — books, teachers, retreat centers, and tools that have supported my own path and the paths of many I've worked with.
Take what resonates. Leave what doesn't. And come back whenever you need support.
Buddhist Resources
Mindfulness
- The Insight Meditation Community of Colorado (IMCC) sponsors daily online morning meditation sessions from 8:00 to 8:45 am. These meditation periods are offered on a drop-in basis and anyone who wishes to participate is welcome. A different teacher leads the meditation session each day of the week, using the Zoom app. The format is simple: a brief opening, a 30-minute meditation period, and short dharma talk on a topic chosen by the teacher. Find Zoom links for each day here.

Recovery
Recovery Dharma Denver offers a peer-led, Buddhist-inspired approach to recovery from addictions of all kinds — including substance use and behavioral/process addictions. They practice a non-theistic, secular form of Buddhism, welcoming anyone seeking support and connection on their recovery path. Through weekly meetings (in-person along the Front Range and online), community support, mindfulness, and shared experience, Recovery Dharma Denver creates a compassionate space for people to heal, build resilience, and walk the recovery journey together.
