* Subject to change Our retreat schedule offers plenty of space and choices as to how you spend your time. Imagine each day beginning in sacred silence - barefoot walking meditation on the beach, or seated meditation in the ocean-side practice area. After a light, healthy breakfast enjoy some facilitation and yoga. Reflective silence continues until lunch. Mid day is the ideal time to take an excursion. Each day there is a offeringprior to dinner. On a few special evenings you'll enjoy yoga nidra, shamanic drumming and conscious dance. We will connect on site as a group to envision the perfect container and amount of structure. Our goal is that you feel safe, secure, and cared for so you can settle in and experience your awakened nature.
Your Friends on the Path
Asiana Harper | Asiana has always been intrigued by the elements and how they interact in body, on earth. Growing up in the mountains of Colorado with wilderness as my backyard, I recall climbing trees, sitting in caves, adventuring with the animals in the forest. All of this engaged my curiosity and encouraged quietude as well as agility in mind and body. These experiences brought me into the practices of Yoga and Ayurveda, which facilitate a deepening into the present moment. I received certifications as a Core Synchronism Therapist, Ayurvedic Consultant, Massage Therapist, and Yoga Instructor after studying at the Ayurvedic Institute and the School of Natural Therapeutics, in Albuquerque, NM. Additional training in India and South East Asia deepened explorations in the technology of meditation. I am also certified in Neurosculpting®, a whole-brain approach priming the pathways to the prefrontal cortex through neuroplasticity to re-write old stories which block us from activating our highest potential. I am truly honored to be on the planet at this time, journeying in this body, mind, and spirit template - offering support to others in clarifying more ease, harmony, and balance in their lives. Damon The Zen Drummer | The Zen Drummer's live soundscape is a rhythmic mantric sound bath. Damon weaves the native and African djembe under a resonant voice chanting mantras both ancient and original. The music is informed by a meditative and relentlessly rhythmic sensibility. These sensibilities were refined by Damon's immersion experiences of living in Self-Realization Fellowship ashrams in Escondido and Encinitas from 2013 to 2016 and studying djembe at the Dagbe Institute in Ghana, Africa for extended periods in 2003 and 2007.
His debut CD release Om Gaia is a largely instrumental offering with an array of instruments produced by Jim Beckwith and can be downloaded through Bandcamp and streamed through iTunes, Spotify, Google play.
