Online psychotherapy, aka “e therapy,” allows you to participate in therapy in the comfort of your own home.
STEP ONE: Call 970.390.4318 to discuss your needs or click "Book Appointment" button to your left to schedule your 20-min Therapist Interview call to see if we are a good match.
STEP TWO: At the end of our call, if you feel we are a good match, we will get you scheduled for your 90-minute initial intake appointment.
STEP THREE: Get set for your first video session. All you need for online psychotherapy is a computer or laptop that is audio and video enabled, and a stable internet connection. You then find a quiet, confidential place in your home where you won’t be disturbed, shut off your cell phone to reduce distraction and tune in with your online therapist.
At AWAKE we use HIPAA compliant (shop talk for secure/safe and confidential) Zoom meeting platform for your sessions. There is no requirement for you to register with Zoom or to download any software. Prior to your scheduled session our office sends you an email with a link to the zoom therapy chat room. At your designated time you simply click on the link to start your “e therapy” session. Online therapy has several advantages:
You do not need to travel to see your therapist, which makes it more affordable and is easier to fit in with your schedule.
Available wherever you live.
Flexible appointment times.
You get to be in the comfort of your own home.
You can even wear your comfy, “around the house,” clothing!
